Dr Dell created and developed a breed advisory Scheme SPARKS (Single Population Animal Records Keeping System), initially to support the genetic health of the Global Cleveland Bay population, but since 2017 has worked with the RBST to produce SPARKS for the Eriskay Pony Society. He is a council member of the Cleveland Bay Horse Society and a member of their Breed Committee and will share with us the impact of SPARKS over many years in relation to the Cleveland Bay Horse and how it can influence and help breeds that are dangerously close to extinction.

Lunch will be available at 12.30 pm, with the opportunity to get together in the library afterwards.

At 3 pm John and Denise Rowell from the Education Farm at Dumfries House will give us a short guided tour of the grounds and farm.

Please contact the Chair for further details and to book lunch.
